Charm, style and wonderful host!

We had the most wonderful stay at Struan Hall, my only regret was we could only stay for one night on our whistle stop tour of Scotland. This was a once in a lifetime, first ever, overseas trip for my elderly mother and Judith went out of her way to ensure everything was perfect for her. I can't recall a more helpful nor delightful host in all my travels. The accommodations were spotless, elegant and extremely comfortable. Restaurant suggestions and bookings made by Judith were spot on and the afternoon tea and breakfast are still making my mouth water three weeks later. Overall an outstanding stay. Thank you to Judith and her unseen family who were working behind the scenes.

This is the best guest house we have ever stayed in. Lovely large spotlessly clean room and bathroom in a large interesting house with parking on site.Cake and coffee on arrival in the spacious lounge. Fresh milk for drinks in the room and port, sherry and whisky left out for when we came in after a meal. A delicious breakfast (even whisky with porridge). Judith goes out of her way to ensure that every guest feels truly welcome. This stay was a highlight of our holiday.

If you will be visiting Aboyne or the area, please book this beautiful place. It has an absolutely stunning ambiance and you'll never encounter a better hostess (Judith) then at Struan Hall.
My husband and I hiked the TGO Challenge and were looking forward to a bit of luxury after a view nights of camping, and we couldn't have booked a better place. It was also our 20th wedding anniversary and Judith arranged for us a glass of Royal Lochnagar (one of my favorite whisky's) after arriving back from our diner. No question about it; we will stay here again whenever in the area!

Couldn't ask for more!

We had checked the reviews for Struan Hall on Trip Advisor and could not agree with any of them more. `we only stayed one night and wish it could have been more. We found everything absolutely perfect from the amazingly warm welcome and offer of 'cake' to the stunning Balmoral Room. beautiful breakfast with a wonderful choice, even the offer of a port or a sherry on arrival - which I'd bet you don't get anywhere else! Then Judith booked a meal and a taxi for us. This is service above and beyond! Thank you so much Judith; if it weren't 500 miles from where we live we'd be back a lot more often! The best B&B we have EVER stayed in!

You won't find a better place in the U.K

You won't find a better place to stay in the U.K. I can't find enough words to praise our lovely hostess Judith who runs this beautiful guest house in Deeside, Scotland. When we arrived, we were shown our room, the Balmoral. What an exquisite room from the very comfortable bed to the settee in the window to the spacious bathroom. Judith also showed us the huge guest lounge where we were presented with home made cakes and slices with freshly made tea/coffee. A very nice treat after driving from Edinburgh. Breakfast was also a treat. Very tasty and plentiful. Very good value for money. I can honestly say that after almost 3 weeks of driving around England & Scotland, we can say this has been our no.1 place to stay. Judith was also very valuable in booking us a table for dinner and helping with our next days driving itinerary. Treat yourself to something special ***

We stayed here as we were attending a wedding at a nearby venue. Our room was made available early so we could get ready. A lot of hotels don't allow early entry so this was great. It was immaculate. The whole place is lovely. There was big lounge for everyone to use including port and sherry if wanted a night cap! Our hostess couldn't have been more lovely and helpful if she tried. Breakfast was lovely with a huge choice. There is a car park round the back so parking was free and safe. Thoroughly recommend a stay here. Price was very reasonable compared to other hotels that I doubt would have met the standards here.
